About handles.gg
handles.gg is the world's #1 peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling rare social media usernames — Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat, YouTube and Telegram. Founded in 2024 by Quanta LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA, we operate a Telegram-native marketplace protected by TON-blockchain escrow. Since launch we've facilitated 10,000+ verified handle transfers across 50+ countries with zero rugpulls and a 100% buyer-side dispute resolution rate.
Our Mission
The best social media usernames were claimed years ago. Short, memorable, brandable handles are finite digital assets — and yet the market for trading them was, until recently, a Wild West of forum deals, DMs and one-sided PayPal chargebacks. handles.gg exists to make premium username transfers safe, verifiable, and instantly settleable for buyers and sellers around the world. Every listing is manually verified. Every payment sits in TON escrow until the buyer confirms delivery. Every dispute is mediated by a real human within 14 hours.
Legal Entity
handles.gg is operated by Quanta LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. Our registered address, tax filings and beneficial-owner disclosures are on file with the Wyoming Secretary of State. All legal correspondence should be sent to legal@handles.gg. handles.gg is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, ByteDance, X Corp, Snap Inc., Google, Telegram FZ-LLC or any social platform — we facilitate consensual peer-to-peer transfers of usernames owned by our users.
Team & Founding Story
handles.gg was founded in 2024 by a small team of long-time domain-name and social-media traders who had personally been burned by unsafe forum deals in the mid-2010s. The original prototype launched on Telegram in January 2024 with a hand-curated set of 20 rare Instagram handles. Within 90 days we hit 1,000 completed trades. Today the team spans 5 languages and 3 continents — English, Italian, Spanish, French and German — with 24/7 escrow admin coverage.
Why Telegram First
We chose Telegram as the primary surface because it uniquely combines four things buyers and sellers of digital assets actually need: (1) authenticated identity via phone number, (2) native messaging with searchable transcripts, (3) built-in payments through TON, and (4) a globally-installed 900M-user base. Every dispute becomes a chat log that lives forever. Every seller has a Telegram handle we can hold accountable. Every buyer can talk to support in one tap. That's structurally safer than the alternatives we considered (Discord, standalone web app, marketplace clone).
How Escrow Works
- Buyer pays — funds move to a TON smart-contract escrow, not the seller.
- Seller delivers — the handle is transferred to the buyer following documented steps.
- Buyer confirms — funds automatically release to the seller.
- Dispute? — a real human on our admin team mediates within 14 hours on average.
- Failed transfer? — escrow refunds the buyer 100% automatically.

What We Sell
handles.gg's marketplace covers six of the biggest social platforms in the world:
Beyond Usernames — Managed Services
Alongside the marketplace we run a specialist team that handles work no self-serve tool can: Instagram / TikTok / X verification, username claims (trademark, impersonation, inactivity), and ban appeals for suspended accounts. Every engagement carries a free eligibility audit and a milestone-based money-back guarantee.
Editorial Independence & Sources
The pricing data, transfer timelines, and success-rate statistics we publish come exclusively from our own on-platform transaction history plus third-party press coverage of comparable OG-domain-and-handle sales. We do not publish sponsored reviews or accept payment for listing placement outside the transparent seller commission. When we cite competitor data (Swapd, OGUsers, NameCheap), the source is either the competitor's own public pricing page or a specific comparable trade we can point to.
